Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander babies and children are offered some extra vaccines. These help to protect them from diseases that can be more serious for them.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities can get vaccinations from general practitioners (doctors), Community Care Centres, Remote Primary Health Centres, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, Community Health Services, and the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
